NAVIGATING ORGANISATIONAL POLITICS

NAVIGATING ORGANISATIONAL POLITICS IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT WILL TRANSFORM THE WAY YOU BECOME AWARE OF, RELATE TO & INFLUENCE POLITICS AND ORGANISATIONAL DYNAMICS INSIDE LARGE ORGANISATIONS

Let’s name the elephant in the room: politics are an unfortunate reality of corporate life and many people use them in an attempt to achieve their goals. This comes at a great cost: it gets in the way of a culture of trust, integrity and, ultimately, common performance. This workshop offers a solution to shift from fear-based organisational politics to mutual trust and performance.

Upon completion of this two-day workshop, participants will be able to understand how alliances between colleagues are forged, how to read and interpret organisational charts and how to manage stakeholders in a proactive manner. Participants will become skilled at recognising and avoiding common traps led by political adversaries attempting to broaden their influence and power at their expense. Then, they will learn how to restore trust and enrol colleagues in a culture of transparency and collaboration.

Outcomes:

  • Understand people’s deep agenda and motivators translated into observable behaviour

  • Discover leadership reactive tendencies driving political manoeuvring inside large organiSations
